28.06.2006:

Hell-o !

So it's just 3 months instead of 1 year since the last update. Last month we played the mini tour (4 gigs in Germany and 1 in Poland) mentioned last time, it all went pretty cool, especially the Leipzig gig at Zoro was a fucking blast - we got the best vegan feast we ever got while touring (that's what Zoro is always like isn't it?), it was great to the point of being way overwhelming.... And the gig itself was good as well as the party till 8 in the morning... But we had no reasons to complain about food or any other things in other cities too, they were all great and we'll gladly come back to all these places anytime... We would like to thank everyone involved in organizing these gigs (Hamburg, Erfurt, Dresden, Leipzig and Zielona Gora) as well as bands who played with us (especially Instinct Of Survival for being so great band!) and everyone who just showed up and had fun... Hope to see you again!!!

And the big (well at least for us after all these years!) news is that our LP is finally out for more than a month now and our copies should be here any day.

Other than that we're gonna play at two fests next month: Yellow Dog Fest in Packebush, Germany and here at the 2nd Gdansk D.I.Y. Hardcore Punk Fest so we're hoping to see some of you there. And while talking of gigs - we plan a 2-week tour of Germany and Scandinavia in September (2-16), we already have gigs arranged in Finland and Denmark, but if you can help us with gigs in Northern Germany and especially Sweden (or Oslo for that matter!) please get in touch!

We also finally gave up to the MyShite crap so feel free to add us to yer "friends" (friends my ass haha!) if ya will. The site is at: www.myspace.com/everydayshell

OK, that's probably it for now, Cheers and beers!

17.03.2006:

Cheers!

So again it's been pretty long since previous update, but well, not much happened in our band's existence… As announced last time we played one week tour with Provoked which was really awesome (cheers mates!) and we enjoyed all the gigs (except for someone stealing two guitar pedals after the show in Altemeierei squat in Kiel, Germany - hope you'll fucking die soon asshole!). The end of the tour at the famous K-Town Fest was as great as we expected. Too bad most of us had to go back home the second day of the fest as it was a total blast for all the 4 days, definitely one of the best events in Europe! We didn't play many gigs after that, but out of the few we did, the DIY Hardcore Punk Fest here in Gdansk definitely deserves to be mentioned. It was also a fucking great event and an awesome party (and the opportunity to meet tons of old friends as well as some of the Provoked bastards)!

In less than two weeks we're going to play in Gdansk again, this time with awesome band from Berlin called Mönster and our local mates Dobry Dzien. Then in the very beginning of May we plan to play a few gigs in Germany again, no details are known yet, but we'll likely let you know in the Concerts section of this site. We're also considering doing longer tour in September, so please get in touch if you think you could help us with the gigs in your country/town (that is if you're from Europe of course!).

We also wrote that we had found a new label willing to release "The Final Chapter" on vinyl. Now we can finally announce that it's gonna be out later this month on Black Water Productions which is a label run by Keith (ex- Remains Of The Day and now mighty Hellshock). We already got a testpress and according to Keith the regular pressing should be already on its way from the pressing plant to him. Besides regular edition there will be also a limited one with screenprinted cover for all you vinyl nerds out there. Too bad, we'll prolly have to wait additional month or two till we get our share in mail…

We also mentioned two comps for which we had contributed our songs. Unfortunately none of them is out yet, but at least one is already supposedly in the pressing plant so it should be out any time soon. The tracklist looks totally excellent so it's an honor for us to be involved in this project and even more so when it turned out that the album will be released by Profane Existence. So to tease you a bit, we'll print that list:

17.06.2005:

Hell-o !

It’s been two years since we updated that section of the site… Well, the reason, besides our laziness, is that we had yet more of the line-up problems. Last year Tomek decided to leave the band and we had one year break due to several reasons like searching for a new vocalist, his and my stay abroad and preparations to play with the new line up…

Anyway we finally have a new, hopefully stable line-up (yeah, we know… we told ya the same last time…). Our new vocalist is Kalka, ex-Money Drug and Stench Of Death. We started to play gigs again in April and slowly work on the new album. Of course we already play some new songs live.

While talking of the gigs, tomorrow we’re leaving for a mini tour with Provoked from Minneapolis. We’ll play in Poland, Germany and (for the second time) at the K-Town Fest in Copenhagen. We’re all sure it’s gonna be a blast.

What else? Well, Arson Records ceased to exist, so they won’t release vinyl version of “The Final Chapter”. We found another label which doesn’t have money yet and we were asked by another one this very week. This time we’re not gonna name them though, unless it’s 100% sure… Also the split EP with Born Dead Icons didn’t materialize, they were on hiatus due to Alex’s stay in Europe for most of that time and recently they started to play again, but we’re not sure if they still plan to record for that split… Anyway, both songs which were supposed to appear on that EP will be released on two benefit compilation CDs. One is a benefit for Stig’s (Icons Of Filth vocalist who passed away last year) kids and the other for Slug And Lettuce. We already mailed the songs, so let’s hope the records will be released this year…

OK, that’s all folks. We’ll hopefully get back to you sooner than in another two years.

Cheers and beers!

29.04.2003:

Welcome !

Finally we've managed to come out with our website which is now a fact. As you can see it's not completely finished but we decided, that it would be better to present it as such and not to wait until it's ideal. Besides, when it's available for public viewing it should motivate us to work on it more intensively, so it'll get shape as planned. We also count on your help - if you've got any suggestions regarding the website's design, or any useful materials which we could use on it (band photos of good quality, gig posters, reviews etc) - we'll be glad to welcome your contribution. We'd really appreciate it… That's about it if it comes to introduction, now let us start with the news.

As some of you may know, last two years weren't too good for the band. In the autumn of 2000 Milosz, one of the band formers went to live in the US. In the beginning we tried to manage without additional band member - Tomas took the guitar and we've played like that for the few months. In June 2001 we've managed to play three weeks tour around Western Europe with Antichrist (guess most of ya know them, if not - get any of their releases now!) - with Milosz, who came for his holiday, but without Michal, who was kept in Gdansk by the job. Feverish looking for replacement on the bass came out with our old pal Smyciu (ex-105 Lux - punk band from early 90's - and Perelandra) playing the tour with us. We haven't had too much time (exactly 3 days) to prepare him so bass parts were a little bit simplified. Nevertheless all went quite all right. Well, quite all right doesn't mean great - while Smyciu was learning, Tomek decided that he's not good enough at playing guitar and singing at the same time (which view we're not sharing, but what could one do?), so after coming back we had to look for the new guitarist. After a long time Spiekly (Smyciu's mate from both105 Lux and Perelandra) decided to join us. He's learned our songs, we've played a few gigs and... Spiekly has resigned excusing himself with family reasons, job and distance between our cities. He was supposed to play one last gig with us (next to From Ashes Rise) before quitting, but without notice didn't appear. Having no choice we played with one guitar and went into the period of stagnation - when we found the guitarist he wanted to play metal not punk and so on. Finally Michal came out with an idea - he'll switch over to guitar and Ciapa (who was playing with Michal in their old band called Belfast) will play the bass. So it happened, but shortly after Pawel (a.k.a. Wolf) and Ciapa went to work abroad and Michal has broken his collarbone - next period of hibernation. But on the break of October and November 2002 we have awakened (it seems) for good. Ciapa had no problem with learning the songs, we started to write the new ones, played some gigs with this new line-up (few more coming very soon), so we await the future with optimism (what? us - hopeless pessimists?).

Lastly, after some confusion caused by Tribal War resignation of releasing "The Final Chapter" on vinyl, we've found a label that will gladly do it (Arson Records from Canada, who has just officially re-released Amebix live in Ljubjana bootleg. Hope we don't have to explain what such companions mean for us!) We're also hoping that in the end of the year our split EP with Born Dead Icons will be released. It's going to contain our two oldest songs, recorded during "The Final Chapter" session, that didn't match our conception of the album.

Awright, that's it for now but stay intact.
